Little Pushes

For assessment we had to create a mini exhibition out of our work. I decided to call this group of works 'Little Pushes' because for me its about the small contrasts between the materials and how they push against each other and work with each other and also how this subject has pushed me to do things I wouldn't normally do.

We also had to create a brochure for our exhibition. I showed the necklace on a model, in a natural setting and in a man made setting to contrast.

The End

In the last week of class we set out to make our best and final work. I used the felt circles again, along with some wire, sticks and twine. I like the contrast between the natural look of the sticks, twine and felt circles with the wire.

I just started weaving it all together, not really thinking about what it was going to be and in the end it worked out to be a necklace! I didn't use any super glue, only string and wire to hold it together.
